Our History
For over four decades, Voyages Maldives has shaped the way guests experience the Maldives. Established in 1980, it became a pioneer in maritime travel, building the nation’s largest fleet and introducing seamless ocean exploration.
With a deep respect for the Maldives’ culture, ocean, and people, Voyages became synonymous with authentic island discovery and exceptional service.
In 1989, Voyages secured leases for Athuruga and Thudufushi, marking its first steps into resort operations. Building on a legacy of over 30 years of exceptional guest experiences, Voyages embarks on it’s next adventure: Essendi. An evolution of Voyages’ commitment to excellence, now reimagined through refined hospitality and island living.
